Proxima system for the ICU and OR

Proxima system for the ICU and OR

The Proxima system is a patient dedicated arterial blood analyser for use in the intensive care unit (ICU) and operating room (OR). A disposable multi-parameter microanalyser is integrated into an existing arterial or venous line on the patient. When a reading is required, blood is withdrawn from the patient into the device and a panel of analytes is measured to laboratory analyser accuracy. All blood is returned into the patient after the measurement.

The Proxima system uses the same core analyser technology as Sphere's IVD-GE02, a blood glucose, gas and electrolyte analyser with 510(k) clearance from the FDA.
